This year has been superb for the several varieties of wild Asters – quite the best for a very long time.
This was originally in glorious e-colour but I somehow thought it would take on something “special” if edited to monochrome – and it did. I shared it on facebook a few days ago and it proved to be one of the most popular images I have posted in a while.
