Morning over a Misty Lake
This picture is from the archives (2011). September in the Quebec hinterland often gives thick mist over lakes around dawn. This scene was photographed from the dock of Chalet Hidden in the Kenauk reserve west and a bit north of Montreal. Shortly afterwards the sun burned off the mists and a glorious day began.
Despite appearances, the picture was not converted to monochrome – these are the colours that were present.
