Rowan leaves

20160615-001-3There is a rowan tree (that’s mountain ash for Canadians) in the front garden that we have been nurturing for 18 years since it was found as a tiny seedling at the back of a border. Late yesterday afternoon the low sun lit up the whole tree and cried out to be photographed. The birds will flock to the berries in a few months time.
