Yesterday a checkup visit (Sun/showers – humid – 19C) shoed us that a fifth pair of PUMAs has arrived. Four pairs in the cabins facing the water, one at the road side. All were in the air feeding over the water at first and then suddenly they dived in unison onto the house and pottered about for the rest of the time we watched.

The other house on the boat club land was being briefly looked at by Tree Swallows but already has a pair of House Sparrows getting installed … must be serious about it as they were busy making more Sparrows as we watched.

Bright Baltimore Oriole in the surrounding trees.
