Pest invasion

Our carefully cultivated Milkweed plantation, our bit for Monarch butterfly conservation, has attracted a large batallion of Milkweed Aphids (Aphis nerii) known in the southern parts of the continent as oleander aphids.  A major pest and now dealt with, but not before they were “digitally collected” as recruits to the garden micro-fauna. Undesirable but a lovely colour.
