From the history books

I have had, for many years, a record of a Great Horned Owl in our garden but could never prove it – really, it’s a rather uncommon probability.

This morning I was working on culling old e-photographs from my computer and what should I find? On 12 November 2003 I took this rather blurry photograph – possibly one of the first e-photos I ever took and the technology was not as good as today’s. nevertheless – proof positive for the garden list. It had been bucketing down with rain and Jean called me at work to come home and see the bird which was sheltering under the branches of the tree.
