A “Raptor-ous” Day

Coming from the arboretum and crossing the McGill farm fields south of the 40 (and camera-less) we had spectacular close-up views of a Northern Harrier scouting for food near the road and a Red-tailed Hawk in a tree.

Twenty minutes later (with camera) the Harrier had moved on but the Hawk posed beautifully as this sequence shows.
